APPLE CRANBERRY PECAN STUFFING

Prep Time: 10 min Total Time: 35 minutes

Makes: 8 servings, ½ cup each

 

·          1-1/2 cups apple juice

·          2 Tbsp.  butter or margarine

·          1 small apple, chopped

·          1/2 cup  cranberries

·          1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken

·          1/4 cup  PLANTERS Pecan Pieces, toasted

BRING juice and butter to boil in medium saucepan on high heat. Stir in apples, cranberries and stuffing mix; cover.

REMOVE from heat. Let stand 5 min.

STIR in nuts.

This is my FAVORITE and  EASIEST stuffing recipe EVER and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

WHIPPED SWEET POTATO BAKE

Prep Time: 10 min Total Time: 30 minutes

Makes: 10 servings, ½ cup each

 

·          3 cans (15 oz. each) sweet potatoes, drained

·          1/4 cup  (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted

·          1 tsp. ground cinnamon

·          1 tsp.  ground ginger

·          1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

·          3 cups  JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

HEAT oven to 350°F. Beat sweet potatoes, butter, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg with mixer until blended.

SPOON into lightly greased 1-1/2-qt. casserole dish; top with marshmallows.

BAKE 15 to 20 min. or until mixture is heated through and marshmallows are lightly browned.

ROAST TURKEY WITH SAGE STUFFING

Prep Time: 15 min Total Time: 3 Hours 30 minutes

Makes: 16 servings

 

·          1 lb. pork sausage

·          1-1/2 cups  hot water

·          2 pkg. (6 oz. each) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Turkey

·          frozen whole turkey (10 lb.), thawed

HEAT oven to 325°F.

BROWN sausage; drain, reserving 1/2 cup drippings. Stir hot water into reserved drippings in large bowl. Add stuffing mix and cooked sausage; stir just until moistened. (Do not stuff turkey until ready to roast.)

STUFF neck and body cavities lightly with stuffing. Truss turkey; place, breast-side up, on rack in large roasting pan sprayed with cooking spray. Spoon any extra stuffing into separate baking dish sprayed lightly with cooking spray; cover.

BAKE 3 to 3-1/4 hours or until internal temperature of thigh is 180°F and breast and center of stuffing are 165°F. Bake any extra stuffing with turkey the last 30 min. of the turkey baking time.

MUMMY-FACE PIZZA’S

Prep Time: 5 min Total Time: 15 minutes

Makes: 2 servings

 

·          1 plain bagel (3-1/2 inch), cut horizontally in half

·          2 Tbsp.  pizza sauce

·          2 sticks KRAFT STRING-UMS String Cheese

·          4 slices  black olives

HEAT oven to 400ºF.

SPREAD bagel halves with sauce. Pull cheese into thin strips; place in random criss-cross fashion on tops of bagels to resemble mummy bandages. Trim ends with kitchen shears. Add olives for the eyes.

PLACE on baking sheet.

EASY HALLOWEEN TRUFFLES

Prep Time: 1 Hour Total Time: 3 Hours 20 Minutes

Makes: 10 servings

 

·          1 pkg. (6 squares) BAKER'S Bittersweet Chocolate

·          1/4 cup  whipping cream

·          1 Tbsp. butter, softened

·          1 pkg.  (6 squares) BAKER'S White Chocolate, divided

·          Yellow and red food colorings (3 drops yellow and 2 drops red)

·          3 Tbsp.  BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut, tinted orange

·          Black decorating gel

MICROWAVE bittersweet chocolate squares, cream and butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 min., stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted; cover. Freeze 1 hour or until firm enough to handle. Use teaspoon to scoop and roll chocolate mixture into 20 balls, each about 1 inch in diameter; place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Freeze 20 min.

MICROWAVE 3 white chocolate squares in clean microwaveable 1-cup measuring cup or small bowl 1 to 1-1/2 min., stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Set aside. Repeat with remaining white chocolate squares in separate bowl; stir in food colorings. Cool chocolates completely.

DIP 10 chocolate balls in tinted chocolate, turning to evenly coat each ball. Return to baking sheet. Repeat with remaining chocolate balls and untinted chocolate. Decorate orange truffles with coconut to resemble pumpkins. Use decorating gel to draw eyes and mouths on white truffles to resemble ghosts. Refrigerate 30 min. or until chocolate is firm.
